Position Summary

Austin Peay State University is currently seeking part-time, temporary instructors in the area of English Composition and World Literature. The Department offers both online and on-campus courses.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

- Teach English Composition I, English Composition II, or Traditions in World Literature depending on the needs of the department.

Physical Requirements

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Required Minimum Qualifications

- MA in English, MFA in Creative Writing, or MA in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours in English.
- A background search will be required of the successful applicant.
