This is an in-person, on-site, on-campus, Muncie-based faculty position that require a Master's degree in nursing and an active Indiana Registered Nurses license.

Description
Part-time, contract faculty member with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Work assignments and locations vary. Faculty responsibilities include teaching in classroom, clinical, and/or simulation environments in baccalaureate courses for adult health, medical-surgical, psychiatric mental health, and other courses as appropriate; and/or teaching in the Family Nurse Practitioner Track of the MS in Nursing program.
Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by the date of appointment; national certification as an NP or an earned doctorate in nursing from an accredited college or university (if teaching in master's program).
Authorization to work in the US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
Teaching experience in higher education; clinical nursing experience in related area of teaching; ability to communicate effectively; ability to use and integrate technology in nursing education; current clinical practice as an NP.
Required Certifications/Licensures
Current unencumbered State of Indiana Registered Nurse License by date of appointment.
Pre-Employment Screening
Requires successful completion of a background check and education verification.
