Position Summary
One temporary, hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Academic Affairs, AVP.

Start Date
Position available on or after September 18, 2023 and ending on or before May 31, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

Job Description/Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:

Work closely with Academic Programs Team to complete curriculum related projects.

Support the Curriculum Specialist in keeping the online academic catalog and student academic roadmaps up to date.

Maintain department website, and keep it up to date.

Process curriculum proposals in curriculog.

Schedule meetings.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrates effective communication skills (written and verbal) in a diverse environment with students, staff, and faculty.

Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and careful attention to detail.

Demonstrates the ability to work in a collaborative environment on real-life problems.

Demonstrates intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Demonstrates the ability to switch between tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.

Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.

Salary Range

$15.50 per hour
