Reporting to Director of Print Acquisition, the manager will work closely with various stakeholders across growth marketing, analytics, and marketing operations teams. This position will support the Director of Print Acquisition in managing expense and volume budgets related to Print Acquisition Channels as they currently stand and as they continue to evolve with the business goals and needs. An individual with the aptitude to formulate, manage and successfully implement customer acquisition marketing plans from inception to paid customer acquisition. This individual will support the Director of Print Acquisition with strategic planning, and marketing execution along with all aspects of budgeting from forecast to reconciliation. Help manage tracking the effectiveness and ROI of channel-specific campaigns against KPI goals through proper reporting and use of analytic tools. Responsible for driving specific acquisition channel strategy including data selection and pricing tactics that maximize volume and revenue.
Metrics owned
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports and presentations as needed focused on key business intelligence, market analysis, competitive analysis, industry trends and tracking KPI’s.
- Manage vendor onboarding process including collaborating with IT for vendor access management for order entry, facilitating vendor contracts/AP documentation/AOC documents.
- Collaborate cross functionally with other acquisition functions as well as local marketing teams to ensure continuity and cohesion in messaging, pricing and positioning for print acquisition opportunities
- Partner with Dir. Of Print Acquisition on executing acquisition consumer campaigns (including Winback) for various acquisition channels (direct mail, telemarketing)
- Collaborate with Dir. Of Print Acquisition maximizing channel expense and volume budgets that deliver greatest possible impact for volume and revenue.
- Work with cross departmental teams across the company to identify business needs that will grow paid print acquisition and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with creative team on tests and operational channel efficiencies for direct mail programs.
- Collaborate with Dir. Of Print Acquisition to evaluate sales plans and goals by property, tier and pressure channels to evaluate vendor performance and develop sales plans.
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in campaign planning, vendors & budget management, and problem resolution
- Deep understanding of the acquisition sales process in the publishing business is essential
- Experience in managing print acquisition sales channels and vendor contracts
- Results-oriented, self-directed individual with strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

The annualized base salary for this role will range between $45,000 and $105,800.
Variable compensation is not reflected in these figures and based on the role, may be
applicable. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and union
representation, if applicable.
