Job Summary
Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Business Affairs Assistant II to as the Office Receptionist and Head Cashier. This position assists incoming front office customers, collects and applies tuition payments, and is the front line of Customer Service to the Business Office; including face-to-face, phone, emails, and help desk customer service.
Job Duties:
• Serves as Office Receptionist and Head Cashier: answers telephone, directs calls, vending funds, greets customers entering the office, and directs persons to the correct destination. Interacts with customers to provide and process information in response to inquiries, concerns, and requests. Receive and distribute mail?
• Serves student requests in person, on the phone, via the Business Office email, and BlackBoard tickets.
• Receipts tuition payments received in the office.
• Responsible for the student refund process to include weekly queries, posting refunds to student accounts, coordinating with Financial Aid Office, and contacting students regarding undeliverable status.
• Cashier Closeout/Opening -Reconciles daily cash receipts and prepares bank deposits.
• Assist students with selecting a Bank Mobile refund preference, troubleshooting, and setting up payment plans.
• Assist students with Nelnet payment plan setup and questions.
• Audits travel vouchers and expense reimbursements.
• Monitor and track KCTCS Foundation passthrough gift deposits.
• Administer the ECTC Business Affairs webpage.
• Input contracts in the KCTCS contract module.
• Operate the ECTC Signal Vine text message system.
• Receive lost and found items and maintain inventory.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree (related field) and one to two years related work experience, or equivalent.
