Job Summary

WKCTC is a comprehensive community college that provides excellence in teaching a learning, promotes student success, and supports economic development.
Job Duties:
- Coordinates the development and delivery of CDL training to students from a variety of backgrounds. Provides input on recruitment and marketing efforts.
- Coordinates assignments and course scheduling.
- Counsels individual clients/students concerning the program and their progress and completion requirements. Escorts students to Kentucky State Police testing facility and prepares them for successful completion of the Class A CDL driving test.
- Manage CDL operational needs and supplies for the program, working closely with the Workforce Solutions Senior Administrative Assistant.
- Other duties as assigned by the supervisor (may include department meetings, internal and external service, professional development, etc..)
Minimum Qualifications:
Class A CDL license holder with a minumum of 3 years experience driving 18-wheeler for regional/long-haul trucking company. Strong organizational, supervisory, and record keeping skills.
