Want to provide excellent medical care but frustrated by constraints in client finances? Our shelter medical team is expanding community cat care and Outreach services to pets of needy patrons. Pima Animal Care Center is a nationally-recognized, open admission shelter in Tucson, AZ. Our Save Rate exceeds 91%. The PACC medical team now includes 6 vets, 23 vet techs, 2 supervisors, clinic coordinator, medical foster coordinator, and dozens of dedicated volunteers and vet students. DVM colleagues share a diverse caseload of internal medicine, emergency trauma, infectious disease, forensics. In addition to HQHVSN, we perform orthopedic repairs and lots of soft tissue surgery. PACC's new $22M facility was completed in 2019. Clinic spaces include 2 dog and 1 cat ICU areas, 4-table surgery suite, digital dental suite, ultrasound, in-house IDEXX testing, Parvo ward plus 7 other isolation units. Our non-profit partner sponsors specialist referrals for Orthopedic and IM cases, plus specialty consumables upon request (e.g. remdesivir, compounded medications). They also provide our vets CE in ultrasound, forensics, physical therapy, orthopedics to advance our medical care protocols
