Skidmore College invites applications for one or two part-time visiting lecturer positions in the Social Work Department for the Fall 2024 semester. We seek coverage for two specific courses: Human Behavior and the Social Environment (3 credits), and Social Work Practice with Individuals and Families (4 credits). The per credit rate for 2024-25 is: $2,271.50. Applicants may express interest in teaching one or both. Candidates must have an MSW with two years post-MSW experience.

Experience and Education:

We seek candidates with recent teaching experience, preferably who have taught in the past two years. Applicants must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education, experience with inclusive practices both in and out of the classroom, and must demonstrate teaching excellence through evidence such as teaching evaluations, peer evaluations, and sample course materials.
