Job Summary
Join the HR Benefits team as a STEPS Customer Service Associate! The STEPS employee in this role will be able to promptly answer customer questions, review documents, and assist in gaining resolution to any benefits questions that are called in, emailed, or made by walk-in customers. The Associate must also:
- Demonstrate strong customer relations skills, listening skills and attention to detail when dealing with customers.
- Ensure that all forms are completed correctly and completely. Will work with the customer to resolve any issues which requires thorough follow-up skills and strong communications skills.
This position will require a great deal of training on the numerous benefit programs offered at UK. The associate must have an in depth understanding of the offerings and be very clear in the detailed information provided to customers.
There may be an opportunity for regular staff employment depending on job performance and fit.
You may be eligible for health benefits if working over 30 hours per week in this position.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Must have PC skills in order to obtain the information and properly record changes or updates to customers' information. Must be detail-oriented and able to interpret data correctly. SAP skills preferred, but not required (can receive training). Organization, detail and follow-through are a must.
