Job Summary
General office duties include answering thephone and directing inquiries to designated staff as appropriate.Monitoring the ISSS inbox and answering basic questions usingprepared templates and forward complex questions to others asappropriate. Triage walk-in traffic and direct students andscholars to appropriate individuals in ISSS or elsewhere oncampus. Scanning, uploading, printing and mailing documents toUSCIS and other locations for the ISSS team. Other general officeduties as assigned. Provide a welcoming office to the universitycommunity and others who interact with ISSS.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Organizational skills,excellent customer service and interpersonal skills,communication skills, General office and basic computer softwareskills. Conveys an understanding of practicing cultural empathyamong students from diverse backgrounds, especially internationalstudents.
