Job Description
This position is responsible for understanding, analyzing, and evaluating the needs and requirements of IT infrastructure systems and services; ensuring existing and proposed solutions are kept current, reliable, and highly available as technologies evolve.
Understand and analyze information technology/telecommunications needs of the business to assess the impact of new or changing environments and conditions. Gather business requirements, conduct research and analysis, and develop reports, recommendations and plans to improve the quality of IT infrastructure services, such as network, servers, storage, directory services, and cloud solutions.
Facilitate business and service delivery process re-engineering by providing recommendations to improve efficiencies through appropriate technologies and process design/redesign; collecting appropriate input and authorizations from internal and external stakeholders. Utilize a variety of methods to document and illustrate the flow of information/work processes including but not limited to diagrams, flow charts, and graphs.
Assist and lead in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects and initiatives within the IT Infrastructure domain. Contribute to the successful completion of assignments and projects by providing a variety of information including but not limited to cost estimates, return-on- investment analysis, business cases, feature and functionality reports, and process design documents.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers and stakeholders to understand business and functional needs; providing regular updates to affected parties.
Demonstrate a high level of initiative, independence, and maturity in all aspects of work; using creative and critical thinking techniques to identify and implement new or novel ways to improve services and service delivery.
Salary
$40,000 - $65,000 Commensurate with experience
Shift
Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree is necessary. Two years of experience in the information technology, telecommunications industry, or related filed is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and tools are preferred.
