Description: Coordinates the internal processing of communications, transaction requests, and sponsor requests and handles correspondence with internal and external contacts. Advises on the preparation and submission of sponsored project actions. Reviews documents and refers more complex requests to senior leadership. Assists with prioritizing and organizing work.
The Federal Contracts Coordinator will be responsible for taking the lead customer service role for the Federal Contracts team.Duties include reviewing and triaging incoming and outgoing correspondence from/to government agencies, educational institutions, companies, faculty researchers, and administrators, using internal electronic systems to document actions, set up agreements, check compliance and review internal documents. The position also includes monitoring and routing emails for the team, as well as typing correspondences.Candidates must submit both a resume and a cover letter to be considered for this opportunity. This position is being offered as 100% remote or hybrid, depending on the candidate's preference.The Office of Sponsored Programs (OSP), a central office reporting to the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research, is charged with assisting faculty, staff, and students in their efforts to promote and secure sponsored research funding.The OSP reviews, negotiates, endorses, and provides administrative oversight related to proposals and awards in accordance with all applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
