The Outcomes Assessment Management Analyst reports directly to the Director of Assessment and Planning and SACSCOC Liaison and assists in providing ongoing guidance for program evaluation and outcomes assessment. This includes assisting and supporting programs and units in establishing, aligning, and integrating assessment practices with college, university, state, and SACSCOC assessment guidelines. Additionally, this includes alignment with other levels of institutional effectiveness efforts at the institution, institutional outcomes, and strategic plans. The Analyst maintains appropriate workspaces for the collection of institution-wide data, including the management of user accounts, rubrics, reports, and organizational goals as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reviews and provides program and unit-level plans and provides guidance to faculty and staff in the development of administrative outcomes and student learning outcomes, implementation of assessment techniques, analysis and reporting of findings, and the use of assessment results for improvement; ensures outcomes assessments and results align with SACSCOC guidelines and requirements; creates user-friendly statistical reports, visual presentations, and infographics for use by programs, colleges, offices, and units; facilitates outcomes assessment cycle deadline adherence; provides technical assistance and maintenance, including outcomes rollover and removal; schedules departmental/program sessions with faculty and staff; facilitates campus-wide training sessions; evaluates information and data provided in Campus Labs by departments and programs and provides detailed feedback to departments, colleges, and units; and maintains user access by adding and removing users as needed.
Assists the Director in ensuring data and information for THEC Program Review and Quality Assurance Funding (QAF) is collected, reported, and shared with appropriate parties across campus; this includes preparing Program Overviews; providing documentation, data, and information to departments and programs; and schedules and prepares agendas for meetings and information sessions related to Program Review and QAF.
Supports general education outcomes assessment processes including planning and execution of faculty scoring sessions, analysis of results, and written reports, as needed; supports qualitative data collection efforts across campus; assists in planning, coordinating, and facilitating assessment events, assessment planning meetings, workshops, and seminars to enhance assessment efforts and share best practices.; participates in and support a variety of committees including the Institutional Assessment and Effectiveness Committee (IAE); and provides needed materials and information for IAE processes and meetings.
Assists with survey maintenance and distribution including:
· Support survey administration for various surveys, including survey development and implementation
· Responsible for setting and sending reminders; awareness of and adherence to deadlines
· Troubleshoot survey issues for respondents as needed
· Send response rate updates to various stakeholders as needed
· Compile and publish results to the website on annual or semester basis
· Develop contact lists for surveys (students, faculty, etc.)
· Maintain multiple surveys simultaneously
Ensures Outcomes Assessment timeline, materials, and resources are up to date online; ensures Program Review and related documents are updated routinely and available online for programmatic and departmental use; supports faculty and staff in resolving system problems and performing technical support; and research best practices and execute literature reviews related to assessment processes.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· Knowledge of compliance and institutional effectiveness.
· Strong and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Exemplar interpersonal and organizational skills, and intermediate computer skills required (MS Office). Proven aptitude for learning new skills required.
· Ability to learn and manage software systems.
· Ability to work independently and in a team environment, as well as handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; 3 years of administrative experience; and 3 years of compliance and institutional effectiveness in higher education experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree.
