WSU is seeking a full-time Systems and Web Services Librarian to provide management and coordination of the University Libraries’ web presence including the website, catalog, and other end-user platforms, and maintains library web services interfaces to ensure usability, accessibility, and brand consistency; collaborate with the Office of Marketing for website development and with the Libraries’ Web Advisory Team to ensure discoverability of library resources and integration between library systems, and to evaluate the user experience pertaining to library web services. Required:
- Master’s degree in library or information science (MLS/MLIS) from an ALA-accredited program by start date
- 2 years of library experience (can include student or graduate student employment, internship or practicums accepted)
- Experience providing technology support
Preferred:
- Strong collaborative skills and user-centered focus
- Experience with content management systems
- Experience with integrated library systems
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience administering Springshare LibApps
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS
- Knowledge of current best practices for accessibility
